Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Whipdoc API service ("Service") provided by OffByThree LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Whipdoc provides a PDF compression API that allows developers to programmatically reduce PDF file sizes. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload or process files containing malware or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Exceed your plan's usage limits through circumvention
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account. For billing inquiries, contact billing@offbythree.com.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by OffByThree LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the files you upload and process through the Service.

7. Data Processing

Files uploaded for compression are processed in memory and are not stored permanently on our servers. Compressed files are available for download for a limited time before being automatically deleted. We do not access, view, or analyze the contents of your files.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OffByThree LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
